The Angmering Society was founded in 1973 to secure the preservation and development of features of historic and public interest and natural environment within the Parish of Angmering, a village situated in West Sussex on the south coast of England. By thus stimulating public interest, it is hoped to foster a community spirit and enrich village life.

It is a non-political, non-sectarian organisation concerned with the interest of all those who live in the Parish.

The Society's programmes are devised to cover a wide variety of subjects and activities ranging from lectures on local historic buildings, the countryside and environmental issues, to outings and rambles. New members are warmly welcomed.
